Formerly, Vernon’s only dermatology medi-spa, North Okanagan Skin & Laser is Vernon’s leading edge clinic for quality service in skin care and laser aesthetics. Men and women of all ages come to us to help them improve skin health and appearance.

Our advanced equipment is medical grade. We use Syneron Medical and Candela Lasers which are both highly respected and well known in the medical laser industry. They are also dermatologist researched and recommended specifically for our clinic, ensuring you are receiving treatments of the highest quality.

Many of our clients are referred by friends who have been impressed with the results we have given them. We also receive referrals from doctors who trust our ability to provide high quality professional care and assist many doctors with their own personal skin care needs.

Lori Pickett
Owner/Certified Medical Esthetician

Lori received a diploma in Clinical Esthetics and immediately went to work for a Dermatologist as a skin and laser specialist where she gained invaluable experience and knowledge. She worked as a laser technician and specialized in laser hair removal and skin rejuvenation treatments as well as assisting the doctor during medical procedures.

Lori is now continuing her career as the owner of North Okanagan Skin & Laser and carrying on the vision of the late Dr. Marius Roos, with a cutting-edge cosmetic laser clinic.

Her vast knowledge in advanced skin care and laser treatments sets her apart from other laser technicians. Her passion for helping people look good and feel great shows as she delivers treatments of the highest quality in a professional, caring manner. Lori thrives on continually educating herself in this exciting and ever growing industry and is dedicated to providing excellent results by offering individualized care to each client.

Janelle Smithson
Receptionist, Certified Medical Laser Technician, and PUVA Therapist

Janelle is our front line specialist and is most likely to be your first contact with our clinic. She expertly books all appointments and keeps our clinic flowing smoothly. She is very knowledgeable in all aspects of our services and can answer most questions you may have regarding procedures and products.

Janelle is fully trained and qualified in Medical Laser Hair Removal and is dedicated to ensuring her clients receive only the best treatments.

She is also formerly trained in administering Phototherapy to our psoriasis clients and ensures they are well looked after. Her superior customer services and warm personality guarantees you receive and enjoyable experience the minute you walk through the door.

Kristina Hoy
Certified Esthetician/Laser Technician

After living and working in Alberta, Kristina is back in Vernon! She comes to us with experience at spas in Edmonton and Calgary and will bring a bit of the big city style to Vernon!

Kristina is offering a wide range of services which include; microdermabrasion, facials, chemical peels, manicures and pedicures, lash and brow tinting, waxing services, as well as our many laser treatments such as Intense Pulsed Light, ReFirme and the new Matrix RF.

With such a wide variety of services, Kristina is able to provide customized options from spa pampering to medical laser treatments to suit each individual. Kristina invites you to come in and treat yourself to one of her relaxing pedicures!

Liz Bussey
Certified Laser Specialist

Liz has lived in Vernon for 6 years. She received her laser training in Denver, Colorado and obtained a Certified Laser Specialist designation. She is trained in laser hair removal and advanced laser treatments. She is a tremendous asset to our team and welcomes clients for laser hair removal, Matrix RF and our new Thermo-Lo for the treatment of spider veins (legs and facial veins), skin tags and brown spots.

Liz’s passion for skin care and her genuine love for people are apparent as she assists each client with personalized care and attention. Liz is devoted to increasing her knowledge in the field of laser aesthetics and looks forward to advancing in further skin and laser treatments.
