We are proud to be the first to introduce dermal rolling to the Vernon area.  These unique rollers are FDA-approved tools which are ideal for non-surgical and non-ablative treatment of various skin conditions such as aging (wrinkles, loose skin), scarring (acne, surgical), photodamage, and hyperpigmentation. Clinical studies have shown microneedle therapy to be very effective in stimulating collagen and elastin production to thicken the skin thereby reducing wrinkles and smoothing scars. This treatment will dramatically increase the effectiveness of skin care products, through improved penetration of nutrients and vitamins into the active layers of the skin. The medical roller has 200 fine bristles that penetrate 1 mm into the skin. This is deep enough to trigger the growth factor cascade, but shallow enough to minimize recovery time and discomfort. It results in natural collagen production and does not have the risk of pigment changes with sun exposure after treatment, thus making it ideal for those who have darker skins, where laser treatments are contra-indicated.
